Our story
How nepqon came to be
nepqon didn't start as a business idea. It started as a binder. Paper registration forms, medical questionnaires filled in on the morning of the course, and a training record that was never written down at all, just passed on verbally on the next dive day. Whoever had the student in the water last knew what they could do. Nobody else did.
We looked for software that solves this. What we found was either generic course administration that knows nothing about certifications, skill sign-offs or medical pre-screening, or portals built by a single certification body that cover exactly one organisation and start from scratch with the next. For a school working with several agencies, that means maintaining everything twice.
So we built it ourselves. nepqon has been in development in Germany since 2025, with one clear goal from the start: to become the platform professional dive training runs on. Across every agency, from the first try-out dive to instructor level. We are not building the solution for one single school, we are building the standard this industry does not have yet.
